Forestry Mowing:

Our tracked excavator can also be equipped with a purpose-built forestry mower head.

This heavy duty hedgecutter is capable of shredding small trees and thick scrub such as gorse and broom, up to a diameter of 250mm (10") down to ground level with relative ease and removes the need for chipping, burning or transporting the cut material. Powered by the excavator's own hydraulics, removing the need for a 'donkey' engine and hydraulic system, it is a very efficient way of clearing a site of vegetation ready for development.

As a result of the carrier vehicle being fitted with tracks, this combination can work on terrain which is out of bounds for wheeled mulchers.

Height Restricted Excavator:

A hydraulic height restricter is fitted to our tracked excavator allowing customers to set a specific height which will not be exceeded once the restrictor is switched on and locked.
